I don't think it is just QVC, cutting the shipping costs bu using surepost. This past 4 or 5 months I have noticed a lag in delivery service from Nordstrom, BB and Perricone. perricone is the worst for me. Most all Nordie orders come very quick. But more and more they have the items sent from one of their stores. You can't even up the shipping to 2 day on these"sent from store" items. They take longer to process, and to deliver. Nordie has been splitting the orders in way to many deliveries. I ordered quite a bit from Nordie in the last month. I had 12 items. My one order came in 6 deliveries spread out over 2 weeks time. All those boxes, paper work, and the time!!! Some stores take a week or more to even process! Do you know they even sent this separate box with my 3 beauty samples??? Wha??? What a waste of money. Kind of them, but come on. Their CS is world class though. They can't be beat! I have a book of kind deeds they have done. So, I guess I can put up with some slooooow shipping.
Perricone online is by far the worst for me. I spoke to rep about this a while back over the phone. After it took me 25 minutes to get a call through., Perricone does the Sure Post,( half UPS the rest postoffice). It takes me 11 to 14 days to get most orders. When the package gets to California the package sits for 2 to 4 days somewhere before they even move it out. It is hot, and the product is hot, runny when I get it. Two times I had to have replacement because the cream ran out of jar with the 100 degree plus weather. I am not ordering from the website again. I can order from Neiman, Nordie, or another store pay same price, and get it in 3 to 5 days.
Perricone told me shipping is free, I can upgrade to 8.50 for UPS, or 22.50 for 2 day. After I spend a fortune in product the least they could do is get the stuff out in a timely manner, and still offer free ship. I always had fast service from Perricone, but no more after they changed to SurePost. . Cheapskates! I love their product, but they are cheapskates, LOL
Whew, did I get that off my chest

I have to say that my items, and there has been many, have been arriving here pretty darn fast....they go from shipped and then move along to my home....:0)

I order a lot of stuff online from pet products to furniture I use about 20 different companies.
Q is by far not the worse, I have to say for shipping speed it has to be one of the top 5. I do not "watch" order status(s) online. Only if an item is REALLY late. I have at least 5 items in process any given week, I do not have the time to watch shipping processes.

I agree that shipping out is very slow. When I cancel a few items, and order something again, they ship out in one day (we shall see if they really did ship because it only takes 2 or 3 days to receive).

I always had great experiences with HSN shipping but they also are falling behind. Recently I have had orders sit for 5-6 days before they shipped.

No really. It's slower than some places, but there are places slower than QVC, too. Since I know that QVC usually takes a week, I take that into account when I order. I only get frustrated with slow shipping if I need something by a deadline, in which case I wouldn't order it from QVC, or when something takes more than a week. QVC usually does not take more than a week.

Have to say any time I order anything from Judith Ripka, it ships within three hours after I place the order. They waste no time in anything that's expensive to ship. Even when I place a makeup order it ships within two days. They're much fast then Evine Live that's for sure.

Okay they are proving me wrong and I am going to eat my words

Even though my order did not come from the California warehouse (it came from VA), this is the fastest order ever. Their ETA was a week off. It should be here today- ordered it on the 28th. That isn't too bad. It will be awesome if this speed keeps up on any of my future orders! Good job, QVC!

I can't say that it bothers me because everything that I have ever ordered has arrived before the e.d.d.
I will say that if you are tracking it's not updated consistently. I will check from time to time, and have nothing after label created, and perhaps the warehouse that it ships from. The next update will be out for delivery or delivered.
