Anyone else find it interesting how so many girls/women on YT with pretty good skin insist on wearing foundation?

I've never worn foundation and my skin hasn't always been good. I'll do anything to avoid it so I just wear concealer where I need it and use powders with good coverage. I'm amazed how sooooo many Youtube gurus pile the foundation on.
