After my disaster with the Cover Girl mascara that I posted earlier, I remembered that I had previously liked the Jordana mascara that was actually recommended on this board. So, I found it at Walgreen's and it really is a good mascara for $2.99. I see that there are two new versions of this mascara. Anyone tried the others, not the original in the black tube with the purple lines?

Yes, me. I was a big Jordana fan (original Best Lash Extreme). I tried the two new formulas and they were garbage. It's been awhile so I don't remember the exact problem, but they were in the trash the same day I tried them. I've fallen out of love with my original BLE lately too. I don't know if I just was unlucky and got a few bad ones or if the formula has actually changed, but the last couple I tried were a lot wetter and very different from what I was used to. I surely liked the Jordana pricetag, but have moved on to others that I can get on QVC.

Guess I will stick with the original formula. It really does work wonders on my skimpy lashes. You certainly can't beat the price!

The original (black and purple) was good, but stay away from the newer one (green and black????). It went into the garbage after a couple of tries, dry as a bone LOL.

I only like the original. I tried the other two a couple years ago and remember not liking them but for the life of me, can't remember why.

Jordana has three mascara's I believe. Two of them are made in Italy and the other in USA.

They are one of the few co.'s that have a great brown mascara! The one I use comes in a clear tube and also comes in electric blue and clear. The formula on this one is wonderful. Around $2 and made in the good ole USA!

Where did you find these? I've never seen them. I also thought Jordana was made in Italy.

They have a great website! I started buying the mascara and nail polish there when they were constantly sold out at my local drugstores. Lots of wonderful cosmetics made in Italy and USA. I've been happy with all their products. They have added a few items MIC but I just avoid those.
