I ordered a beauty item and there shipping is way worse than QVC , in fact i think QVC is getting pretty good . But i checked my credit card and i was double billed , this was a very expensive item. They said they are aware of the problem. Just a heads up. I must have been lucky all these years i have never had this happen.

Nordstrom is having issues. I'm not sure why they keep having problems but they do (well, I have my theory but it's just that). I stopped ordering from them when the teamed up with SpaceNK. Total nightmare for ordering or returning; you can't use your SpaceNK point membership (but you can with Bloomingdales) and CS is not educated on the products in the SpaceNK boutique.
Don't offer products if you don't know anything about them or are unable to offer quality CS...especially when OTHER sites/stores CAN.

@MW in Iowa I am surprised you experienced bad shipping. I always receive 1 to 2 days to ship out. Beauty items are normally sent UPS to protect the item.

I 💖 Nordstorm and seldom ever have issues with their s&h or their customer service & I'm a regular online shopper.
They have the best customer service.
FYI: one of their main online warehouse is in Iowa. Can't see why you would have s&h issues. I'm way across the country.

Unfortunately we had our suspicions recently with errors in billing and shipping and unreceived products. My daughters and I were using Nordstrom heavily in procuring items for my granddaughter’s wedding wardrobe.
Hours and hours racking up in deliberations and no resolution in sight so I appreciate your input.

I have shopped at Nordstrom for years. Never had any type of issues. This suprises me to no end because their CS is way beyond many others. Or maybe it used to be....

I am sure my problem was just a fluke, but i ordered my La Mer set on 8/18 and it said it would be 8/28 upfront , i just didn't know they took that long. The amount was $358 , then i noticed the charges twice , i did just get an email today that they were aware of the problem , not just me other customers on the double charges. The only reason i ordered from them , LaMer was out of it , other wise it only takes 3 days from them. I just was surprised at 10 days. It is irritating because that money is tied up for several days.

No there wasn't a shipping charge , but a duplicate charge of $358.00 tied up on my card for at least 5 days is a big deal to me.
