Any good C-Serums from the Drugstore-Suitable for sensitive skin?

Hi Ladies,

I think I've asked this in a different form a while back, but I am almost out of my Mad Hippie Vitamin C serum and I'd love to try something new. I've used the MH one on and off for probably 2 years now. I know it's not the most powerful C product out there, but for me that works well b/c my skin can be weird and sensitive.

Anything suitable for my skin type (dry-ish, Rosacea, finicky) at the drugstore? Or other B&M stores (Target, etc)???

Just curious and TIA. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

I also have super sensitive skin and I really can't buy too much from the drugstore. I usually shop lovely skin.com for La Roche Posay redermic serum, Elta MD nighttime therapy, Ogagi Gentle foaming cleanser, and Atopalm daytime moisturizer if I need it. Once you know what your skin can tolerate stick with it. I tried a sample of something that lovely skin included for free in my order. I wound up with an allergic reaction, 2 trips to the derm and steriods to finally cure it. No more. Stick with what you know.

Nodecaf-Thanks very much.Smiley Happy I haven't been to Sally's in some time, but I will go soon to check out the product.Smiley Happy Sunshine-Thank you.Smiley Happy I agree that with finicky skin it's often best to stick with what you know. My Derm has always said to find products that work and stick with them. However, I'm a fickle girl by nature and I sometimes want to branch out. Or I just want to try something I can buy in a real store and not have to order online.

I mentioned in another thread that I use the Avalon Organics Vit C serum (18% Vit C) on my sensitive/rosacea skin without any problems. AA also has a Vit C cream, eye cream, and cleanser you might like. This brand is available at Walgreen's, Target, and Kroger grocery stores - about $18-25.

Hi toto-Thank you.Smiley Happy I think I've actually tried the Avalon a few years back. I will have to try it again. Glad to hear that they are now at more stores. I used to only see them in WF.

totowo, could you please tell me what does AA stand for, I had been using Lumene Vitamin C Capsules but they are expensive and cannot always find a good sale on them anymore. I would also like to find a good drugstore product. TIA Smiley Happy

Forever Grateful - sorry, it was a typo. It should have been "AO" for Avalon Organics.
