Any former Prescriptives Anywear fans? Looking for alternative.

My absolute, all time favorite foundation. The only one that made me literally gasp (in a good way!). Breathtaking (!) color match.

It was never available on their site after they closed down, and it seems as though sellers on eBay have run dry.

Has anyone discovered a good replacement? Surely ONE of the other Estée Lauder companies should have something comparable?

TIA!!

Virtual skin and Flawless skin foundations are both close to me, and I can still get them on their website. I still get my False eyelashes mascara and Magic powder there too.

I used to love Prescriptives, in fact their foundation was the first liquid foundation I ever used that looked like my skin and not makeup. I found once you are color-printed or whatever they called it, I could use the Px foundation to match others.

I did not use the Anywear line but for a nice, sheer, compact foundation, I use Revlon PhotoFinish.

Also if you want a liquid/powder make-up that is sheer, I like L'Oreal Magic Nude LiquidPowder foundation.

Me too on the Virtual skin foundation. I was a "red" in the old days and #22 "cool" is for me.

Camellia. Medium coverage, matte finish, good wear, and suncreen, plus no fragrance. Virtual Matte Oil-Control Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 15

Yeah, story of my life. Smile

BTW, have you tried/looked into Ole Henriksen? Kind of wondering if I could use the Truth Serum (love the name!) as kind of a combo to replace green tea and C serums (plus it has HA). And before you have to ask:{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Water (Aqua), Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Calcium Ascorbate, Sorbitol, Glycerin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Euphrasia Officinalis Extract, Rosa Canina Fruit Extract, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Extract, Oleth-20, Hydroxyethylcellulose, PEG-12 Dimethicone, Benzophenone-4, Sodium Hyaluronate, Thioctic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Citric Acid, Caprylyl Glycol, Hexylene Glycol, Limonene, Linalool, Citral, Fragrance (Parfum), Yellow 6

ingredient benefits

Grapefruit and orange extract Purifying, astringent, brightening
Green tea extract Protects against damage with antioxidants
Rosehips extract Repairs and strengthens with concentrated vitamin C
Sodium hyaluronate Binds moisture to the skin
Vitamin C Calms, heals and strengthens collagen
Vitamin E Heals, restores and nourishes

More ingredients than Nanci's, I agree.

Thanks for your input, if any. Smile

If you have any outlet stores nearby , The Cosmetics Company may still have some. I loved it too , I was a yellow/ orange. I've found that foundations with a yellow undertone seem to work very well for me .

Much to my surprise, I was B/R -- the shade was "Rose". Years and years ago Prescriptives typed me as a Y/O (or a Y -- don't recall). I got some of the foundation the mix up just for you, but I wasn't that thrilled. Reverted to my old standby from Revlon. Next time I was at the Px counter, the SA raved about my makeup match, and admitted it was better than the Prescriptives on.

Stumbled on the B/R almost in error, and I just can't tell you what a different it made!

I'll check out The Cosmetic Company -- not sure they have an outlet in my area. Thanks for pointing me in that direction!
