An anesthetist once told me to never exfoliate "dirty" skin (your skin with makeup on) as this could cause the makeup, etc., to be driven into your pores. (She explained it much better than I am.) For example, only use Philosophy's Micro Delivery Wash on clean skin, like first thing in the morning. Her advice always made me wonder about the Clarisonic and if it could work makeup into pores.

I have a Clarisonic and tried it 4 different times and would have to say it most definitely broke me out. I cleaned the brushes, i rinsed my face afterward, it did not work for me. sitting under my sink collecting dust....
