Any Nars Eye Primer Users?

I got a sample at Sephora a while back and thought I'd just gotten a bad one because there was almost no product on the wand. I'd forgotten all about that and on Saturday I wanted to use my VIB 20% to get the Tarte primer I've been using for a few years, but they were out of it. I should have just waited until I got home to order it on-line, but I bought the Nars instead. It's just like that sample. I have to keep dipping the wand into the tube to get enough to dot on and I don't use too much. Is this normal or did I get two duds?
