Hello
I am getting REALLY sick of the people around me (family mainly but some friends) who are basically trying to make me obese/fat/unhealthy like they are.
I try to be a fairly healthy person. I try to eat well (but I do indulge at times!), exercise, etc. I am a healthy weight. However, I am always getting pressure to eat more & especially to eat unhealthy food (fast food, deep fried, etc). I also can't tell my family when I work out b/c I get silence or negative comments about it.
In addition, my family members are always bringing over fast food for our kids without asking. Of course the kids love it & eat it up but I don't want them eating a lot of fast food. They'll only eat french fries & chicken nuggets (of course deep fried) from fast food restaurants so that's what my family is constantly bringing. Along with sundaes, etc.
Is anybody else in this situation? How do you respond to the pressure?
Thanks for any ideas!
