Take a Benadryl STAT! It could be eczema. Are these places where your clothing rubs your skin? I usually get eczema in the dry winter months but having a humidifier on each level helps a lot.
When I get ""welts"" it's usually an allergic reaction. Have you been eating or drinking anything new?
I would definitely see a doctor.

It could be you are having a reaction to GMO foods. I have heard of this happening much more often now. I would recommend the YOGI tea skin detox blend and baths in salts and using non chemical creams that you would find at a healh food store. A Dr is going to charge you an arm and a leg for allergy testings, just be ready to spend the big bucks before you get put on the medicine that suppresses the immune system.

Is the rash wet or dry? If it is oozing, I would put a drying agent on it such as Mexana powder...I would definitely see the dr especially since it is spreading.
DH had a red itchy rash on his upper back and one arm a few weeks ago; we put Benadryl cream on it since we had no oral Benadryl (of course it was a Sunday night).....the rash hung around another day and then disappeared as quickly as it came....no new food or clothing or detergent....mystery rash.

Oh, puleez.
OP, if I'd make an appt with either your primary physician or a derm if this continues.

You should see a doctor. At this point anything you apply topically has as good a chance of making it worse as of improving things.

ITA. See a doctor ASAP, especially since it seems to be spreading.
