Anti-aging serums

Hello! I'm halfway done with a bottle of Ole Henrickson's Truth serum from the latest test-tube. I really haven't seen any difference in my skin. My aestatition (sorry about the spelling) recommended SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF. Has anyone used the SkinCeuticals brand? It is so costly, I want to be sure it'll work. I'm almost 52 years old, with some lines around mouth and eyes. I like the truth serum, and would repurchase if anyone thinks I need to give it a longer try. I'm just not sure what Vitamin C serum is good.
