Re: Another one bites the dust, tingly lip products

I don't likelt he tingly lip sticks or glosses. Frankly I don't care for flavored or scented lip sticks either. I recall trying one brand and the scent was disgustingly sweet that I couldn't wear it.

I stick to Lipstick Queen or NARs lipsticks.

Doesn't bother me at all...but the only ones I've ever tried that tingled are the Buxom lip glosses, a recent discovery for me. They do tingle, and I do think they improve the look of my lips (a little smoother, less creased).

I don't wear anything on my lips.  I did on my wedding day, and the day my son got married.  But that is it.  It just seems gross to me.  Where does it go?  Do you end up injesting it?  Just not for me.

I can't imagine not wearing lip color - I look dead without it!  I've probably eaten 5,682 lbs of lipstick in my lifetime!

p.s. I do hate the tingly stuff!

No.

I made a mistake in buying one of Burt's Bees lip balms and it was like I had put Vicks on my lips.

I don't like them, either.

In fact, I'll read the ingredients on the lip product to check and make sure that I don't buy anything that could contain anything that could make my lips either burn or tingle.

I have tried these kinds of lip products before when they were part of a beauty kit, for example.

My lips also turned red too from irritation, besides the tingling.
