@chiclet  This was the exact experience I had in Sephora last year on Black Friday.  It was a small store and I literally could not turn a corner without someone popping up asking to help me.  I got so annoyed I ended up leaving.  This year I went on Black Friday also but it was a totally different experience and only a few people asked to help me.  I think they can overdo it sometimes.  

While I ordere online from both a lot, I much prefer Ulta to shop at in person.  I have never had any problems getting helped there, but more importantly the stores are spacious and not tiny like the couple of Sephoras I have been in.  I end up feeling claustrophobic in there!
