Just in case some of you ladies are interested in what Products are and are not tested on Animals, I found this link on Paula's Choice. I know I for one have been in the Dark and just realized that about all products I use are on the Tested List! I feel sick to my stomach. This has been a BIG EYE OPENER for me! I know some of you ladies keep up with this sort of stuff, and Kudos to you, wish I had been more Alert of this a long time ago. Just Slack on my part.

ETA: You will need to Click on Top Tab "BeautyPedia Reviews" and then "Testing on Animals".

I think many will find this both informative and in some cases, discouraging, as there are some great brands, that due to their parent company, essentially fall onto this list. I guess each can decide for themselves and for the sake of these dear animals, may China please realize and learn that animal testing IS NOT necessary to guarantee the safety of cosmetics.

They are just demonstrating how behind the times they are .............. sad and frustrating!

It has been a real eye opener for me as well. It is very sad that this is still going on.

I find it interesting that AHAVA is on the list that DOES test on animals because as I type this I'm looking at a tube of AHAVA Mineral Hand Cream which clearly states ""Against Animal Testing"" and shows the ""Leaping Bunny"" logo. I have emailed AHAVA and Isomers directly to see if they DO or DO NOT test on animals. I stopped using Philosophy because of animal testing. I also wonder how many people are aware that PTR tests on animals.

I'm still so Frustrated with myself for not being more aware of this Tragedy that takes place for me to look decent. I guess through out my years I have never really paid that much attention to this. Pure IGORANCE on my part! I went straight to my local Health Food store and picked up some samples of a skincare line (Acure), and a Foundation. I have used Clinique, Estee Lauder, Avon, Mary Kay, many store brands. NO MORE!! I threw away what little bit I had left last night. I REFUSE to any longer support this Horrendous act. And I know what you said Wackers is so true. It was very discouraging, disappointing, and devastating to me. I had some good products that I have really liked, but, I cannot with a clear conscious use them, now that I am aware of what takes place! I know everyone is going to be different in the way they feel, and that is ok, we all have different convictions. But, for me, I choose to be another individual that will not support this act.

P.S. Our son and his wife live with us right now and they have a white and black Bunny. Well, needless to say, when I saw it last night, you can Imagine what went through my mind!! {#emotions_dlg.crying}

I stopped using PTR because of animal testing and no more philosophy fragrance. That is odd about the AHAVA wingnut099, it will be interesting to hear from the company.

Here's the response from ISOMERS

Thank you for your question. Isomers has long had this information on our website in the FAQ Section:

Does ISOMERS do Animal Testing?

ISOMERS Laboratories is against animal testing on cosmetics products and ingredients. We do not test our products or ingredients on animals. Nor do we commission others to do so. We never have. We design and develop our products from key selected ingredients that their safety and efficacy has already been established and then further evaluate their performance and synergistic effects through clinical trials on human volunteers utilizing the latest non-invasive analytical techniques.

We appreciate that you’ve come to the source to get the correct information.

If I can be of further assistance, please feel free to contact me~
