I did not like it at all, it is very strong and something in it did not work with my chemistry and it really smelled awful on me. I know many like it and fragrance can smell great on someone & horrible on another so I suggest trying it multiple times and wearing it around for a while before you decide to buy. I've had several scents change the way they smell on me after some hours of wear, and not for the better either. Tom Ford Black Orchid and Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue both turned into a sweaty, stinky feet, BO smell on me after wearing it awhile. So I've learned my lesson to sample a couple of times and wear it for many hours before plunking down the $ for it.

I recall that very same issue with Calvin Klein BE . I think it smelled good on one out of every 10 people. Unfortunately on most, including myself, it smelled like Ajax!

Funny, because those two couldn't be more different.

I know that Black Orchid is the HG for aficionados, but I guess I am too simple to appreciate it. I will say, though, that the new one about to be released (Velvet Orchid) is slightly more approachable for pedestrians like me. {#emotions_dlg.lol} Still, it's even too much.

I get the feeling with some connoisseurs that their scent has to be difficult rather than pleasing. I'm not into powdery cotton candy or a fruity floral indistinguishable from all other fruity florals, for sure, but I'm just not edgy enough for some of these scents with wood and moss and snakes and who knows what else. {#emotions_dlg.scared}

i used to like it and wear it when it first came out. Now I think it is much too recognizable---I can spot it at 50 paces. I think it is kind of strong and to me, it is a def. winter scent.

I think that I agree that Angel is a winter scent, but since it is new to me and happens to be summer I will be wearing it anyway.

It's way too strong and heavy for me, but I haven't smelled it recently. Someone mentioned here that the formula may have changed. When I first smelled it, it didn't seem sweet to me.

I do like another fragrance by Thierry Mugler - Womanity. It, too, can be strong, so I am really careful to use just a tiny bit. I mainly wear it in the Fall and Winter.

Hair fragrance...really. Why don't you just spray a bit of the perfume on your hair....no need for an additional product.

I used to wear Angel years ago. I still have a bottle that's pretty full....don't know if it's gone bad or not. It's not that I don't like it, but IMO, Angel is not for everyone, nor is it an everyday kind of scent. It is very strong and probably wouldn't be appropriate for an office situation where someone could be sensitive. My husband always liked it on me, but my daughter always thought it was too much. Even though I had been complimented on it, when she said that I thought maybe I should reconsider it. One thing is for sure, the next day I could still smell it on myself and it was also still quite noticeable on the clothing from the night before. I've moved on to Alien (also by TM) and find that is a much better choice for everyday.
