Andrew Lessmans "Womens Wellness or Positive Passage" or Evening Primrose Oil

Wondering if anyone uses ALL or one or ANY of these items from AL and wondering if they have really helped you at all?

I am going into my mid 40's and really noticing the shift in hormones (YES, I have had bloodwork and as of right now my Dr. tells me I am "within range")

I just get anxiety type feeling and unable to sleep the week before my period. I am thinking of something that will help with that and help overall with the whole transition into Perimenopause & then Menopause of course.

Could you tell me your experience with any or all of these? Would love to hear as I am not sure which to start with.

TIA for your input!

Hi,

I use the Women's wellness and the evening primrose.

They have both helped me and I'm only taking the lowest dose suggested.

I take the women's wellness in the AM and evening primrose at night.

I was having some of the usual symptoms and they have helped me

Thank you so much for your reply. I have been taking extra fish oils, Bcomplex and Ccomplex but still thought I should add something in for add'l. support - That sounds like an excellent plan so you that you get the benefit of both and take one during the day and the other at night - Great plan

I take Women's Twice Daily from Vitacost. Even though I'm post-menopausal, I still take EPO in the morning and evening since it benefits the skin. I take a handful of other supplements, too. I've found that I can listen to Lessmen for information purposes, but then I go to Vitacost and find a comparable item for less money. Whatever you decide to take, unless it's in a softgel, tablet form is the cheapest way to make supplements and they don't always break up and digest completely. Encapsulated powder is the best, which Vitacost offers.

Thank you - YES, I agree, I am TOTALLY supplement savvy - Only Caps or Liquid, NO HARD TABLETS!! I also look for little to NO fillers. What Women's supplement are you taking from Vitacost, I order at least 3 times a month from there - Supplement, Shampoo/Cond, laundry soap - I love Vitacost (and IHerb)

More than a handful, I guess, and not women specific, but I take:
Glucosamine Sulfate & Chondroitin Sulftate w/MSM
Hair Skin & Nails Formula
CoQ10
Turmeric
Choline & Insitol
Krill Oil
Pine Bark Extract
Lutein & Zenaxathin
Citrus Bioflavanoids
Vitamin D3

Not from Vitacost, I take 2 CocoaVia capsules which we buy direct. I like the capsules, but DH like the packets that can be mixed into something else like a smoothie, water, or coffee.

I buy supplements for my dog from Vitacost, too.

It supplies Omega-6 and is supposed to help with premenstrual issues, breast tenderness, reduce the severity of hot flashes, is good for skin.
