@San Antonio Gal  She would be beautiful without any hair. Personally, I prefer her hair the lighter brighter golden blonde she had before for many years, but I do like this shorter style.

@tends2dogs  So that's what that dark strip at the hairline is called? I was staring at it when she was on recently and wondering why it looked so strange and almost painted on. I don't like it whatever it's called.

Nope, big hair and the high-top bangs were the '80's. Amy's hairstyle, though cute, is dated. No one wears their hair like that anymore with the high-bump on top. Look around. Sometimes it's really high.

It's called needing your roots touched up and if you have grays along your hairline then using a root touch-up color in a shade too dark might make it look weird but necessary to cover the gray...and I heard Amy say she has grays.

@DREAMON  - I also want to go get a few inches cut off too.  I like the fullness on top.  Flat hair doesn't look on me.

@San Antonio Gal ,

I too dislike flat hair. I was thinking that I will wait till September to get it cut.

I have to be able to put my hair up in this heat and cutting in September will get all the dry ends off.

Thanks for mentioning this, @San Antonio Gal . I think she's really pretty and even thought she was prettier before she had work done. As for her hair, is it real? Between the part and the way it is around her hairline, it looks like a wig to me. I thought maybe she had lost her hair and was always wearing a wig; it just doesn't look real to me.

I had mentioned in an earlier post that I noticed the front of her hairline looked very dark. However I disagree that the style is dated. It is a classic cut that is timeless and elegant.

I agree that her cut is classic but the way she puts that high bump on top is what makes it a dated style. I think it ages her, definitely.

It is adorable and I don't see where it is outdated at all.
