Miss Rose 722 - your Sweetpea looks so much like my Taffy.  My Taffy was so gentle that she allowed the kids to dress her in baby clothes and push her in a doll buggy!

That is too funny and adorable at the same time, kalicat! Taffy (love that name) was truly very special and unique! I tried to put a little pink tutu on my furbaby but she sprinted - guess it was tutu much for her!

The 2.25" (5.5 cm) Rule

To try this cool formula, all you need is a pencil and ruler:

1)   Position a pencil horizontally at the point of your chin.  Then, place a ruler vertically at the bottom of your ear lobe. 

2)  Take the measurement from the intersection of the pencil and ruler. 

If it's less than 2.25':  short/shortish hair flatters you most.

If it's more than 2.25":  long/longish hair flatters you most.

If it's at 2.25":  most hair lengths are flattering.

This easy-but-exact test was discovered by hair expert John Frieda.  The result clearly indicates whether a face is better suited to long(er) hair or short(er) hair.

My own measurement is a whopping 3", for crying out loud (as "sfnative" said), which just emphasizes what I've known most of my life, LOL.  

And now I know it's the reason why I currently sport 'longish'/medium-length hair (the longest length is 4" past my shoulders), and haven't had short hair since I was 12.

Giles Robinson, senior stylist at John Frieda Salons UK, said:  "It's all about angles.  

John studied faces, and saw that the angle of the jaw bone determined whether or not someone would look best with short(er) hair or long(er) hair.
