I just turned 60 in September. I've been growing my hair out and it is now shoulder length. I like it long and would like to grow it longer, but I'm wondering if long hair on older women is viewed as inappropriate. The reason I ask is that years ago, when I was in my 20's, I worked with a woman who was probably in her 60's who had long blond hair down to the middle of her back. A lot of people in the office used to snicker and call her "Alice in Wonderland". They said she was trying to look like a teenager. Any advice or comments?
