Am I allergic? Sty Developed after use

I purchased the TSV that was on last week. It arrived Wed night. Thursday morning I applied the whole kit. Washed off with no problems (using purity from Philosophy). Friday morning I applied the kit again this time using the CityChick in the Buff Shadow Palette. I noticed as I applied the under eye brightner my one eye inside corner area was sensitive to touch. By Friday night I had a sty there. I did not wear any makeup yesterday or today, hoping it will heal quickly. Could I be allergic to the Mally Makeup? Has anyone else had this happen? Should I return it?
