"We manufactured and sold product to China a couple years back that didn’t have 12% on them per restrictions there. They are not 12% concentrate either. We also do not authorize any third party sellers to sell our alpha skin care products on Amazon. So, I can’t say how these products made it onto Amazon, or if it is even our product we made for China. I can confirm It is not ours that we sell direct to Amazon. I would not use it because it could be old, or counterfeit. To find our product look for ships by Amazon and sold By Amazon when purchasing Alpha Skin Care. I would request a return."

This is the answer I received when questioned about labeling and the presence of alpha hydroxy. Not sure what to say.

Amazon sometimes sends a substitute, but they are quick w/ their refunds. This may not have been the case, but in lieu of that letter, who knows?

I always buy from the Alpha Skin Care Store on Amazon.

That's where all of my lotions have come from too. Just experienced a change in labeling last week.

I ordered this for the first time the end of last year.  It had the 12 percent on the label.  I just got my reorder this week, the 12 percent is missing from the front and the back of the bottle, and the ingrediant list has changed.  For example, I didn't see urea . . .
