Allowed to share 30% code??

Hi,

I don't come here often because I'm not a "Philosopy Girl" anymore. I received a 30% off code today, so I thought I'd share it. From reading a previous post, I'm wondering if that's o.k.? Even in my email it said,"Shhh, no sharing this surprise." I don't know what the big deal is. Should I post it on here, or is that against the forum rules? Thanks,
