@tends2dogs  I agree with this. For example, my hands look great after I apply hand cream. The effect is gone after approximately 30 minutes.

Update!  I tried it last night....no smell, pump worked fine on the bottle...not sticky....I liked it!

@SeaMaiden I have tried it the last two days and really like it as well.

I used the Algenist for about a year or so and liked it.  No bad smell to me at all and the applicator worked fine.  I just moved on to try less expensive products and concentrate less on topicals so stopped ordering.   I liked the Algenist products and never had a problem with any odors.
