Alexandrite TSV Show - Jane's makeup/Look

I think its making her look older. To me, it looks over the top - vampy - and not in a good way. And that hairstyle is not doing her any favor, either. At first I thought she hurt her right eye maybe, but its actually the way the ye makeup has been applied.

I'm not being nasty or harsh - just surprised that she didn't realize its a little over the top.

What do you ladies think?

I like her hair -- I think an upswept style is more flattering to the face (think Tova!). Brings the eye UP and I wish I could get mine up there. I was looking at her eyes -- they do look different. I'm thinking extra lashes, maybe?

I think she looks beautiful. Love her hairstyle tonight. I specifically just checked the QVC Community board after tuning in online just now to watch the show to see if anyone had posted a comment about Jane's lovely appearance. I should have known better. That's why I try to avoid these boards; there are so many harsh, critical and snarky comments.

I think she looks great, younger looking. I'm not a fan of her "little boy" hairdo she seems to favor which I think is aging. It almost looks like she had some kind of anti-aging work done. Don't like the cream colored outfit much tho.

I think the updo on Tova looks fabulous!! But I also think she can pull it off because she is so tall.

I don't think the original poster is saying this in a mean spirited way. I was thinking the same thing - for some reason (not sure if it's her makeup, clothing or hair) but something is not flattering and it does make her look way older. Just an observation.

The hairstyle and false eyelashes have added at least 10 to 15 years to her looks! There just must be a new makeup person doing these hosts makeup, I will not say a makeup artist. Look at what they have done to Jane, Lisa and Antoinella....can they not see this?
