if this has been answered please point me toward the thread, but i’m looking for an edge control that can hold my edges (at least for 1 or 2 hours) without drying them out.

i already have pretty thin edges so i’m worries about the impact of my edge control

See, this why I love this place. So much wit. It takes the edge off (sorry, couldn't resist).

This might not be much help but if you Google "edge control" New York Mag has a fairly decent article on products they recommend. The article is dated April 2020 so it's recent.

"What are edges in Black hair?
Edges, a term born in the Black community, are the baby-hairs that grow on the perimeter of one's forehead. Slayed edges are like a soft-kiss from God, and styling them is truly an art form."
