if this has been answered please point me toward the thread, but i’m looking for an edge control that can hold my edges (at least for 1 or 2 hours) without drying them out.
i already have pretty thin edges so i’m worries about the impact of my edge control

This might not be much help but if you Google "edge control" New York Mag has a fairly decent article on products they recommend. The article is dated April 2020 so it's recent.
