A delusion and a waste.
You're overdoing everything, and yes, you need to cut back. Why not simplify to a gentle cleanser and a moisturizer with sunscreen. Bam. You're done.
She asked for advice on how to use her products, not a judgment on her choices. See how helpful others are being? Maybe you could try that next time. Or just not respond if you have a different viewpoint. I don't think you're changing anybody's mind, so what's the point?
Thank you to those of you who defended my question. That was very kind.
I spent several years posting on ebay forums and that was a jungle at times. I've grown a very thick skin.......lol.......and a greater sense of humor.
Agree - I was thinking I'd gladly put my 61 year old skin up against GoodSense's. I've been looking in the mirror and thinking "you know? My skin is looking pretty amazing!" Never had the glow or the vibrance or the whatever it is that's making me think that, when I was using just a cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen. It DID look better than those who weren't using sunscreen, though.
"Goodsense"? I can't help liking it!

Thanks.
Hi glitz! Yes, I use the Vit C from NCN. I love the effect it is having on my complexion. Others have mentioned that it is watery. I use 1 pump for my cheeks and nose and chin. I use a second pump for my forehead and any spots I missed on my face. Extra goes on my décolleté.
I would highly recommend it. I think it's formulated to remain stable and I keep it in a dark location.

OP, not-so-GoodStuff is notorious for being judgemental and putting in little digs for what she considers to be paying too much for things or what she considers unnecessary and falling for the hype. It is her MO. But please, whatever you do, do NOT try to convince her that elastic waist pants are not really the end all be all!!!

Irishrose, the two that are not recommended you use together is vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) with copper.
Think of using the C in the a.m.; copper in the p.m. (Both build collagen.)
I don't know what is in your Skin Tight Lifting, but those lifting preparations are to be placed on skin last thing. (Can't find the source for that; it depends on the primary ingredient.)
Source for the C & copper: from Livestrong/Mayo Clinic
Also, the Accelerator...? What is the primary ingredient in that? Because that also might determine order of application. If it is another BHA, then that would make 4 different BHAs, which you know to use separately, or like you stated, once a week.
Hi Harpa! Both are NCN products.
Skin Lifting Elixir is a silky lotion.
Ingredients: Aloe Vera Gel, MSM, Elestan, Trylagen, Centella Asiatica Extract, Relistase, Dynalift, Pepha®-Tight, Sea Kelp Bioferment, Natural Alpha Bisabolol, Optiphen.
I haven't tried the Accelerator yet so I don't know the consistency.
INGREDIENTS
Active Ingredients: Matrixyl 3000, Pearl Powder, MSM, DMAE Bitartrate, Oat Beta Glucan, Acetyl Tetrapeptide-9, Matrixyl Synthe'6, Carrot Seed Oil.
Inactive Ingredients: Organic Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Vegetable Glycerin, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Emulsifying Wax, Blue Green Algae Extract, Vitamin E, Phenoxyethanol, Black Willowbark Extract, Rosemary Oleoresin, Neem Oil, Sodium Benzonate, Xanthan Gum, Tetrasodium EDTA, Citric Acid.

Both of those sound like nice products, and I think you'll find both moisturizing as well.
a.m. - BHA first, then vitamin C, then Skin Lift, then moisturizer.
p.m. - BHA, copper, Accelerator, moisturizer.
But if all of these are new for you, you need to take extra precaution and introduce only one thing to your skin at one time. Do patch tests. And, I would let at least a week or two go by before you introduce either the Skin Lift and if you're okay with that, let at least another week or two go by before you incorporate the Accelerator.
(It is a little much, but you are asking about order of application.) It sounds as though you are treating clogged pores with the BHA, want some antioxidant protection and cell turnover with the C & copper, and firming action w/ the SL & A.)

Actually, Goodstuff is simply expressing her opinion in a forum where opinions are invited and solicited. And yes, the lady sometimes wears elastic-waist pants........and even has the temerity to smile and wave while doing so! What will we do with this old girl?

IF you look on NCN's website, there is a section that explains the order in which you are to use the products. You can use the copper p at night, but I like to alternate it with the Vitamin C in the morning. I use Vit. C one day and use the Copper the next. Use Vitamin C or Copper P first then the Skin Tight Lifting Elixir. I tried that recently but I don't think it really did anything. I hope it works for you, though. I also really love the DNA serum. That has reall made a difference for me.

Harpa, you understand exactly what my skin issues are. It sounds like I've picked products that fall into the correct categories. Not all are new, just the copper, skin lifting and accelerator. Where do you do a patch test? Inside of the wrist or below the ear?
Thank you so much Harpa! You've helped me immensely. *high-five*

That's good to know about the dna serum. TY gammachi! ![]()
I did find that section on the website. It seemed complicated so I was looking for some clarification.
