Advice needed..

So I should start this off by saying I'm not asking for beauty advice but would love your input in this matter of the heart. I'm currently a senior getting my nursing degree and finishing up my last month then moving off to a big city near by to work with cancer paitients which I love. Last month when I was at my parent's home for spring break my neighbor's son left a love note/ hand picked rose on my car. Since the day he left the note on my car we have been talking non stop but my family isn't fond of his family so it would make the relationship which would already be rough due to distance even harder. He has asked me on a date this following weekend but I'm not sure what to tell my family or if I should even get into a relationship knowing my life is about to chance due to work. What are some of your thoughts? Should I go after prince charming?
