Advice for DD stomach issues

THis is not a beauty issue, but all of you are so wonderful and knowledgeable about everything. DD had scope done, no peptic ulcer but red angry place (biopsied) and possible bacterial infection. Do any of you have suggestions for what she could do. dr gave her no meds or info until tests come in next week. She is in considerable pain. Any suggestions welcome.
