Admiration for some hosts

Boy, I do admire these hosts! I am not a regular of the other shopping channel, but I did flick over last night and caught the host of the Lancome show. She was very very animated, excited, and went on and on about the virtues of the TS! I semi-watched for at least 35 min as she talked about this one item. Flicked over to another channel for a few mins. and then back - she was still on the same item! An hour later, still the same item! Gotta hand it to them - it takes alot of energy to talk about the same thing with enthusiasm for over a hour!!!!

I agree.....I could never do it....no matter how much I liked a product...or not...

Now to be honest...I don't think any product needs to be talked about for an hour...even two...make your point...tell me the facts....and lets move onto another product....

Once you start belaboring the sell....I leave the station...

If it goes on for very long I get bored and change the channel. However, I do realize everyone is different.

I have sometimes learned how to use a product simply by watching the hosts. I don't seem to have enough sense to read the directions, follow them and use the product. The long discussions sometimes help me.

Like everything in life, there is a good think to be gained from all things.

Exactly.......once they start getting too excited or repeating over and over ...I'm outta there!

That just reminded me of years ago when Kathy Levine was presenting a Star Wars or Star Trek Collection and she said had to be honest and that she wasn't one bit interested in and had never seen one of the episodes in her entire life. She joked through the presentation and I watched just because she had me laughing the entire time. I still miss her presentations.
