Re: Active Argan TS HSN Jan 8

I have SUPER sensitive skin. Resurface is one of the VERY few vitamin c products I’m able to use. I STILL only use it once a day, in the morning. At night, I have been using the “resurface retinol”. I would probably have less sensitivity if I was willing to use an oil, but I wear glasses, and I can’t make an oil work. I can use oils at night, but even then, I wait until close to bed. Am I just messy? I don’t know how those who wear glasses keep them “smear free” when using an oil 😵‍💫

PS- I just saw the price for the 24k eye. 1/2 oz for $22.95. I have a FULL 1oz on auto for $19.95. Not bashing, but this is why I watch those prices LIKE A HAWK.

Well I don't know if this TS product is good, bad, or indifferent or whether it matters where things are listed in the ingredient deck.  All I know is that all of us have different skin, different needs, and different tolerances.  I'm still willing to try it, maybe it'll work for me and maybe not, time will tell.  I don't think I'm "missing" anything in her presentations.  She makes it clear that you can continue to use the other serums you are aleady using, which is what I'm going to do.  Will it be a game changer for me?  Who knows, but as I said, I'm willing to try it and find out.

As an aside...

@JudyL - you've been on my mind.  Are you in or near Los Angeles?

@JeanLouiseFinch  - Thank you for thinking of me.  How sweet of you.  I am not in the Los Angeles area.  I live across the Bay from San Francisco.   Have friends and family in Southern California but, so far, everyone is safe.

I have wanted to try the Rosy Cleanser for a long time, but I dont ever buy it since it contains coconut oil, which is a big time pore clogger.

Citric acid is a very weak AHA. It's exfoliating power is way down on the list as far as acids go. Would be okay for very sensitive skin types.

@SilleeMee What exactly in here is supposed to work on the fine lines and wrinkles?  The Citric Acid?

@sueinsf

Probably the argan/amyris oils and glycerin. Those would provide hydration and reduce the appearance of fine lines/wrinkles. Some vitamin C in there, too, which would help a little bit with firming but not a whole lot considering the type of C it is (SAP). The ascorbic acid vitamin C is way down on the list and I would say it's there to help boost the other ingredients.

Re: Active Argan TS HSN Jan 8

Manuela (Isomers) said one day to 'never put oil on your face.' She had some kind of fruit and she poured oil on it and said it just does nothing for skin. She's a scientist and I do value her opinion. (next thing you know she'll come out with a face oil, hahaha).
