I don't know the name of the Mally mascara, but I happened to flip through the channel while a model was showing the results of a Mally mascara -- and I almost screamed and reached for the nearest bug-swatter! What the heck is attractive about eyelashes that look like a hairy tarantula spreading its spidery legs in all directions around someone's eye? That was the most grotesquely exaggerated makeup effect I've ever seen! It would be fine for the stage or Halloween; I can't imagine anyone taking those grossly overdone lashes through a normal day.
I don't know if the demonstrated look is what you really get when you use this product.......but I thought it was just AWFUL. A definite "never buy" for me.

Hahahaha!!!!! "Goodstuff", I totally agree with you. I love a great mascara but don't want "spider eyes" either!!!! I have been using IT Cosmetics regular mascara or their Tightline. It lengthens and adds thickness without looking unnatural.

They are lash enhancements. All mascara can make lashes look like tarantulla eyes with enhancements.

Also, reapplying over mascara again and again with have this look.

There was a mascara commercial on TV the other night, probably for Maybelline but I can't say for sure, and DH said, "Wow, who has eyelashes like that in real life? They look like spiders".
I'm guessing it's the latest trend, if multiple outlets are pushing the look.

It is a really good mascara. What a shame that Mally gets ridiculous with the demos because it does look awful and something I'd NEVER want.

They clearly stated that no false lashes or other enhancements were used, that it was just the model's natural lashes and the mascara. I swear, those spidery lashes reached all the way to her eyebrows!! Ridiculous.

Did you see that same blonde model showing Tarte mascara? She actually looked respectable!
We've sent so many memos already about this.

I think she is referring to something like Latisse, a lash growth product.
