Since @Shanus has got me into being more concerned with my skin and appearance, now I am soon going to run out of samples of toner!

Any recommendations about one that does it's job but is gentle, won't make my face red or irritated, and isn't sticky?

Many thanks!

@Sooner    Vanilla MIlk toner by Kylie skincare is really, really nice.  i had the ingredients analyzed online and the ingredients are clean.  I own the travel size and will buy the regular.  Also, Mario Badescu offers many different toners that are very nice.  Both brands are reasonably priced.  I own Mario Badescu too.

Glycolic + Lactic Acid (8% + 2%) toner by QRxLabs. Makes my skin soft, glowing and not sticky...but it will be if you apply too much at once. A little goes a long way and does the job.

Paula's Choice has several different toners according to your skin.  I've been using her products since 1995.  They are fragrance-free, no animal testing and products are guaranteed for 90 days.

Today's "toners" aren't what they used to be...full of drying and irritating alcohol.  If you find  one that is, run!  Today's toners are more essence-like.  Essences are hydrating and prepare the skin for what product comes next.  Missha Time Revolution The First Step is rated as one of the top essences and reasonably priced.

Two products that I like to use as a toner are:

Alteya Bulgarian Rose Water.  It’s a true rose water made from distilled rose petals rather than a concoction with some artificial rose scent added to it.

Secret Key Galactomyces First Essence.  It’s a Korean product with many good for the skin ingredients and benefits.

Both can be found on Amazon.
