Hi Beauties,

Does anyone know if Aveda products ever go on sale?  I want to try them.  I saw someone I hadn't seen for a couple of months this past weekend and her hair was so silky & pretty.  I asked what she is doing to it and she said she started using Aveda products.

I didn't ask what products she used but it sold me to give them a try.

TIA,

asltw

I've been going to an Aveda salon for years. Their products are great but I don't think I've seen them go on sale.

I go to an Aveda salon. They have a 20% off sale at the beginning of December along with an open house where they serve wine, cheese and crackers, etc.  I live in suburban Minneapolis, so that may just be a local thing.

Re: AVEDA users?

One of our local (WI)Aveda stores has sales twice a year, 20% off.  Needless to say, I stock up!  I would call and find out in your area if they ever have specials on the products.  I've seen other stores do it maybe once a year, but not at 20%.

Otherwise I order online and they always have good samples you can chose along with your order and many times free shipping.  During the holidays they usually have kits.

I use the Brilliant shampoo and Color Conserve conditioner on my highlighted hair.

I go to an Aveda salon for all my hair needs.  I also get a discount on products during an open house at Christmas time.  Regular customers also get a birthday card with 2 months to purchase products and services for assorted discounts.

If you want Aveda products, I'd call an Aveda salon and see if they have an open house scheduled and get on the mailing list.

Or become a client!

Thank you all for your responses!  I saw a salon in town sells AVEDA,so I hopped in my car and bought some products.  I meant to get the Damage Control products, but got the Dry Remedy instead.  (Guess I was so excited to get them right away instead of waiting for them in the mail I wasn't thinking straight...hahaha)  Anyways, I will look for any upcoming sales and purchase the Damage Control as intended.  For now I have high hopes for the Dry Remedy lineSmiley Wink

Thanks again,

There are many Aveda salons that are individually owned & operated.  I have one near me and know the owner well.  Their sales are not frequent, but it's the owner [and operating manager's] decision on how much and how often.  Therefore they cn happen anytime during the year.  If you find an Aveda Institute [where they teach their beauty students] near you, by all means go there.  Often their services and prices are much cheaper.

I find that Amazon sells the Aveda items I want a lot cheaper than my salon.

I just went back to AVEDA...used it about 10 yrs. ago. In just a week, I see a big difference! I haven't seen products on sale, but joined their "program" where you accumulate points to go online & redeem for products. I don't find the S&C or styling products more expensive than Nick Chavez & certainly less money than WEN. AVEDA seems quite concentrated so I use very little. My hair is curly and colored. I use the COLOR CONSERVE line. Love it!
