I like that the cleanser that I would probably need has emu oil. I could really use a gentle cleanser that really cleans.

I can't respond first-hand, but wanted to kick this up until a REAL responder comes along.
I think myshell was (is?) using them and liked them -- or at least the toner, don't really remember about the cleanser.

I started using both about three weeks ago. I am not used to using such a gentle cleanser, and became concerned that it did not seem to be taking off all my makeup so I e-mailed Rebeca. She told me that if one uses a heavier foundation, or cc cream, it may be best to cleanse twice. The first time, to remove "most" of the makeup, and the second time to get any remaining traces. So I am trying that...frankly, I have never washed my face twice, and seldom used toner...so maybe I was never getting everything off!!
On another note, I am using the Vitamin C serum and it does seem to be "brightening"my skin...
I just got a Clarisonic and we shall see how it works in tandem with the ASDM cleanser!

When I try a new cleanser I cleanse and then use a Somme Institute glycolic pad to see if any makeup comes off on the pad. If it does then I know the cleanser isn't doing the job.
I've seen ladies with a muddy looking complexion and I've always thought it was because they weren't cleansing properly.

I've been looking for a rinse-free glycolic pad -- thanks.
I just checked this out but Dermstore doesn't give the percentage of the glycolic acid -- do you happen to know?

I don't know the % but when I started using them a few years ago I had a fleshy growth on the side of my nose and after several uses the darn thing was gone hope I didn't gross anyone outwith that story. THey work really well. I usually order the double size when there are specials during the year. The regular size is 50 pads.
You can go to the somme website and read about them.

I only had a sample of both but they were nice products. I just started being more diligent with my Clarisonic and it has really helped. My skin tends to freak out with too many products and of course I have to try them all, lol. I also started using tea tree oil and my skin has never been so clear. Even my nose pores are pretty invisible right now. I don't get blemishes as much as red spots from too many products.
Ckr1147, welcome to using ASDM products. Join us on the ASDM Sale Info thread and let us know how you like the products.

I wasn't wowed by the cleanser but I did like the toner. The cleanser didn't remove my makeup as well as others I've used have. I guess if you want to wash twice with it, it might get it all. They do have a good return policy so I think it's worth a try. You won't know till you try it yourself

Thanks so much, Nadine. Once I read a dermatologist say don't really bother with concentrations weaker than 10% which is why I always want to know. But I'm older and my skin is much thinner now, so just a little something would probably do the trick. :-) VERY cool about that thing on your nose!
