Microfiber cloths come in different kinds of 'grades'. Some are more rough than others and are not made for cleansing the face or body. The ones for facial cleansing have had the fibers brushed so they are soft yet effective at cleansing.

They actually do work, but if I use them too often my face ends up feeling sore, almost like it's chapped. I prefer using a thin terry baby washcloth.

@brandiwine So while you're traveling, what do you do with all the dirty, nasty-looking towels? They look gross.

I use those daily. However I use them with my Naturium Purple Ginseng make up remover balm. I never use them with just water. Maybe it's psychological, but I need a cleanser.

I have these and like them a lot. I use cleanser with mine. I don't like the idea of rubbing my skin that hard to get any makeup off. Personal preference though. They're nice towels.

I have used these exact cloths and other brands. I really like the round versions. They all worked well, but I found the campanelli got a mustly smell and it never washed out. I never liked the rectangular cloths, too big and awkward for me.
make up eraser is the other well knonw brand for these types of cloths. Unfortunately, I don't know the name of the brand of little rounds that I bought. But I love them. They come in a clear box, with 4 different colored rounds, that have a little pocket on one side for your finger tips. I got them at, of all places, the grocery store. Although our local grocery store is very high end. They sell Lancome! LOL

@San Antonio Gal I use these pre-cleanse. They do work!

I have sensitive skin and like some others here they are too harsh for me. I like the Eve Lom muslin cloth for washing my face. I always use some type of cleanser anyway.

@Kachina624 I've done this before. The cloths come clean if you wash them out with a little bar soap, and they are fine for another use.. Before I learned they were too harsh for me with extended use, I'd bring two with if we were going to be gone longer than a weekend, I'd bring ziplock baggies to put them in until we got back home.

I find they work but they need to be saturated with water. I don't wring them, otherwise I feel like I am pulling too much.
