Re: A twist on the Fave Perfume topic: the faves you wore when you were young

Seeing mention of the Love fragrances brought back memories of Baby Soft and Lemon . My babysitting earnings purchased a few of those . My grandmother gifted me with the remainder of her Tabu and I remember overdosing , it lasted for days just having to wear off even after bathing Smiley Happy I never used it again.

I bought Heaven Scent . At some point in my life and probably an encounter with an Avon lady I used Imari.

When a teen I always noticed guys that wore I think it was English Leather (if they hadn't drown themselves with it.)

I loved and still use Wind Song. I like Skin in the winter months. I believe they are made by the same company.

I am always in search of something light for summer .

And the boys in our lives- English Leather, Brut, Hai Karate, British Sterling (my fave). And the silly fun tv commercials that advertised them.

Re: A twist on the Fave Perfume topic: the faves you wore when you were young

When I was young I wasn't allergic or sensitive to frangrance. I am now. The Demeter Co. "Gingerale" is one of the very few that I can wear.

Back in the day I liked "Unspoken" by Avon "Charlie (was it by Revlon?), Love's "Baby Soft" and "Lemon", and "Miguet du Bois". And, of course, "Babe". When I was 18 my bf gave me "Miss Dior".

I think in the early 1990s I wore "Sunflowers" and sometimes "Red Door".
