I received my WEN products today and was so excited to get started! Then I opened the Cleansing Conditioner and the pump in the the plastic bag doesn't work. The one on the styling creme is just fine. Then I opened the box with the mousse. Yikes. Product was everywhere. Down the bottle, on the packing. Everywhere. I have cleaned it up and there doesn't seem to be a problem with the pump. I am disappointed in the shipping quality. Haven't used the product yet and don't know how I will measure the correct pumps since the pump wont work?

Obviously, you should return it.

Call CS, they are great to ship out new product or parts...someone else had a mousse that leaked and they should know they are coming thru that way....I had a Josie Maran oil leak everywhere and they didn't make me send it back just sent me a new one...Smiley Happy

Yes contact CS, they will probably send you a replacement.

For the CC, are you sure the pump isn't just being difficult? Sometimes you have to pump it really hard to start it and get product to go up the tube. If you still can't get it to work, you need enough to coat your hair, add water to sort of activate it and get it a little frothy (though it won't lather), but once you add water and have enough it will work through your hair more easily. Just make sure you do have enough and it coats all of your hair.

If you're still not sure, call the phone number on the bottle, they would probably be able to walk you through the amount even without the pump.

Sometimes the new pumps are just temperamental. You have to unscrew the top of the pump to get it to extend and that is often easier to do before you put the pump in the bottle. I had one the other day that was so stubborn I had to remove it from the bottle to open it--got product everywhere. And yes, you do have to pump several times at first to get it started. With some of the thicker formulas it can be difficult. Just saying it might work, but take more effort that it seems like it should.

But if it's truly broken, I'm sure QVC customer service will take care of you. I've heard Chaz's customer service is very accommodating as well. Good luck!

Sometimes this happens when items are shipped and travel up and down to heights and back that will cause the items to have too much pressure. ....

The one I received was obviously broke, it had a small crack in the top but, my friend had a pump from an older bottle of her WEN products and it worked! I have used the products and they are just wonderful. Can't believe the difference in my hair. I would suggest though that something be done about shipping the mousse. That was just a mess when I opened it. Again I will say, the products are wonderful on my hair!

yes when I received my summer honey peach mousse last year it had leaked out all over the box- about half of it. The container wasn't broken but I think that the consistency of the mousse is liquid and the pump on it either isn't on tight enough, gets loose during shipping, or isn't conducive for keeping a liquid product from leaking.

I received my SHP Mousse last year and it was just fine. It was 110 degrees here on that day and probably about 120 on the hot UPS truck. But absolutely no problem with it at all.

I think people tend to post here more stories about problems rather than no problems. So things are not always as they seem. just sayin...
