@homedecor1 your color is just beautiful. A new cut and color can make us feel fabulous. It looks so nice.
@OKPrincess I’ll be your friend! Wow, what comments here.
@Shanus I think you shared your dark/silver color here before. It was such a beautiful color. And you had great wave/curls.
I still color my probably 80% gray hair, platinum blonde. People ask my stylist, I want her blonde. She mixes two or three shades I think. 😀. I go about every 6/7 weeks. The gray just blends in with my blonde. It doesn’t look like roots.
It’s different for everyone. Just need to do what is best for each of us. I’ve seen a lot of beautiful gray/silver hair since Covid.

I'm not a fan of grey. Very few women look better with it, only a rare few, in my opinion.
Oh boy, I hear you ..... and not all greys are created equal! Some greys are really awful, just begging to be colored.
While it might save money to stop coloring hair, and it certainly can be called "natural", it's not really an improvement in many instances.

I am one of the women who should not go grey. During the lockdown my hair grew uncut and uncolored for almost a year. Patches of brown, steaks of reddish blonde, dirty steel streaks.... I'm very fair and thought my skin would look nice .....no, no, no....washed out with red patches.
To each their own and I know several who look marvelous with silver hair. But they are in the minority. Most I know who've gone grey just look older to me.

Well, plus the fact that there are a multitude of shades of grey, and then there is WHITE, which can be quite attractive if it goes with the wearer's complexion or isn't a patchwork of shades.

@OKPrincess Nah, anyone who wouldn't be your friend because of your hair color is petty.
Whatever you're happy with is the best thing for you. ![]()

I let mine grow out during lockdown. An aunt of mine stopped over some time ago. I waited for the "you look like your mother" comment, and sure enough, it came. lol
I want to do a color-depositing conditioner in a new shade and see what that looks like.
Everybody do what makes you happy!!
