A WARNING ABOUT CLARIOL HAIR COLORING AND EXPIRED PRODUCTS BEING SOLD

This happened to my sister and I thought I'd share the story.

My sister bought some Clariol hair coloring at CVS Pharmacy. She was mixing the coloring and the plastic bottle disengrated. She was afraid to use the product and called CVS, they gave her the number for Clariol. Clariol asked for the lot/stock number and come to find out it was an expired product from 2010!

Clariol blamed CVS and said it was CVS's responsibility to remove old stock, she called CVS back and they blamed Clariol because they said Clariol was supposed to send a Representative to their stores to remove the expired stock. The proverbial run around and pointing fingers and neither claiming responsibility. In fact she said the Clariiol Representative was quite rude. CVS gave her a refund of course, but she vows never to buy anything from either Clairol or CVS! Anyway, buyer beware and watch out for expired Clairol products! The problem was no expiration date was shown on the box and only Clariol could determine it was expired by the lot number.

Glad I use Loreal...but who knows they could have the same problem.
