@Desertdi @SurferWife I don't see this discussed pardon if it's repetitious, I'm thinking when getting out of the shower, instead of using the turbie wrap to apply makeup I'll try these.

I don't need the full coverage of the turbie, it usually falls off anyway, these look like they'll stay put!  Really stinking cute too with the bow. Smiley Happy

@SurferWife I bought a bag of these about 3 years ago, maybe longer. I think there was 12. I don't need the wristbands as I wash my face over the bathtub. Bathtub tall, me short. It feels good on my back too.

@monicakm Having a hard time understanding how you wash your face over the bathtub.  Do you kneel down....then twist your neck to get your face under the faucet?  I don''t mean to be dense but I just don't see how your doing this LOL!

You must be very flexible from what I am envisioning Woman LOL

I have terrible neck and upper back arthritis plus right now bia-lateral hip bursitis and sacrum pain going on.  The height at the bathroom sink and in the shower works best for me.

These are so pretty...I ordered a set about 6 months ago that are soft pastels and I just love that they absorb the water right at the wrist!  No more running down my  arms or soaking my sleeves!

I place a hand towel on my vanity,  any water will catch.  I don't mind water running down my arms because I wash my entire arms with my cleansers every night...why not??

Sometimes, I think its easier to hop into the shower,  LOL.   No wristbands for me!  Another thing to dry and wash, nope.

I had NO idea something like this existed! Thank you so much @SurferWife and @JeanLouiseFinch for the examples.  I just went over to A and ordered.  I've needed something like those wristbands for years.

Thanks for all the responses.  Some of us think they are a great addition to our cleansing routine and others don't.  For $7.99 that are a 5-star product for my evening cleansing routine.

These are pretty cool but I have been buying the fabric hair bands from dollar tree, usually 3 bands in a pack but yeah, there's water everywhere when I rinse my face. I'm almost 6 ft tall so I gotta lean way over to rinse.  The wrist bands would keep the water from splashing all over me and the floor.

OR

@monicakm  it never dawned on me to rinse my face over the tub.  I have to use the mirror to suds up with the clarisonic but I could rinse over the tub. Since I'm so tall I would definitely have to kneel which isn't an issue.  I'm gonna try it tonight!

Re: A GENIUS FIND!!!

@monicakm I do tend to over think things BUT I am also curious and when someone does something I don't then I try to figure it out so I get why they do it their way Woman Very Happy  My Mom would be older then your Mom...mine has passed and would be in her 90's and she never did either of those things and neither did my Grandmother so I am thinking this wasn't a generational thing on how to wash your face or hair....just a preference perhaps.

Since I love to shower in the morning that is when I wash my hair...i wouldn't be able to flip my head upside down to rinse in a tub as I have neck and upper back arthritis plus positional vertigo so I avoid anything like that.

Thank you for sharing....glad we both have ways to get what we need to do done that works for us Woman Very Happy

@SurferWife  Thank you for posting these. I just ordered a set from Amazon.

My owner's suite is downstairs with a large shower with no bathtub, so if I were to wash my face over a bathtub I'd have to go upstairs. There's no way I'm getting on my knees every night to wash my face over the tub. The tub water blasts too.

I've been using regular stretchy headbands when I wash my face or do a facial, and they're not enough. I can't wait to have better headbands & dry arms. (and a dry floor that I don't have to wipe up)
