It seems that it's true.  Have you tried these?

Any silk pillowcase will do. Helps keep hair from getting tangled, but does not make any difference for wrinkles. Best device for that is stay out of the sun.  Works better than a silk pillowcase

I have not purchased it, I just saw it on Anthropologie's site.  If you go to the brand's site, you can read additional reviews there.  It seems that the curly girls (and the day two hair people) really like it for the hair benefits.

My Derm recommended a silk pillowcase for my age related thinning hair (not medical related).

It's made a lot of difference for DH and I.

Many years ago I bought a set of silk sheets.

I spent half the night chasing the pillow all over the bed.

Yours should help.

I tried using a silk pillow cover years ago and ended up just throwing it away. Doesn't work whatsoever.

My mom used a pillow with a purple satin pillowcase and I still have it. If the pillowcase fits My Pillow, I may try it out.

Because you slip right off them!

Silk sheets and pillowcases were the absolute worst!
