I'm watching Tati on a drugstore makeup video.  What exactly is a blurring primer? I'm guessing it blurs pores. If you don't have visible pores, does the blurring aspect help with anything else?

Huda has a blurring foundation.  There are blurring blushes. Seems like everything for the face blurs.

I have a few blurring products, use them as primers, they help to mattify too which is why I like them. also help to make lines look less visible, I like it on my forehead.  sometimes they are also called freeze products, I have one from Prai called Freeze Cream.

@Shelbelle

Thank you, that is exactly the kind of information I was looking for.

Cant be sure but I think many of them are full of silicones.

Geller had a mattifying tinted Spackle that I was crazy over, even eliminated the use of foundation for me, but of course she DISC it.  It also acted as a blurring product over my forehead lines.

Most all blurring products contain optical blurring micropsheres which are made of very tiny bits of silica which act like little prisms so they actually bend light when light hits the face and scatters it to make things look blurred.

@monicakm   We've tried blurring powders and primers on clients and many had adverse reactions to the ingredients. I never use primers since I don't want to add an extra step to skincare and makeup.

I don't have anything that blurs per se--if I did I would want to have a tub of it and just dunk my whole body into it Woman LOL----but I do use transparent setting powders--my fave is from MAC--prep + prime--is white in the compact but clear on. It seems to blur --I use it as the last step. I do see and really like the effect.
