Good morning & happy July to everyone. I've never joined a group before & yours sounds so nice. Everyone seems great & I hope to post often although I'm not very consistent with my posting even on facebook!. I'm 60 & retired. I got Lymes disease in 2004 & had to go on disability. But am better now. They just retired me in Oct. when I turned 60 so I guess no more work for me. I did apply for a part time job at a local department store - Kohls & also Body & Bath works. We'll see what happens. Just wanted something to do & make a few extra bucks in the process. I hope I can find you again when I want to post! Have a great day & stay cool!

Bad news! I have liver cancer. It is not in the colon as I told. I won't know anymore about what can be done if anything, until I see the specialist on the 8th. I was shocked! I am very sick. I can't eat because food does not digest. I am losing weight and I am a little scared. I have put my trust in God and He will see me through this. I ask for your prayers. I will let you know more when I see the specialist.

Someone needs to take over the thread. I vote for Cindy. Will email her today. However, you can decide among yourselves who does it. It just involves making the new thread at the beginning of each month. I will continue to post as long as I am here. When I stop posting you will know that God took me home. Cindy, are you up to taking the thread? You would be good at it. Helen too. I will check back later today. BBL

Bobbisue: I am so shocked to read your post. You've been through so many health issues in the past, but had beat them. Hopefully, you will be able to do so again. My heart goes out to you. I hope your son is there to give you comfort during this difficult time. Please know that I am thinking about you and sending good thoughts your way. And yes, I will take over the thread, if that's what you want. We'll see how it goes after your 8th doctor visit.

I wish there was something I could do for you. Please let me know if there's anything at all.

bobbisue, i was so sorry to read your post. my heartfelt thoughts & prayers are with you. i know at a time like this it's very hard, but you really need to try to remain strong & keep a positive mind setting & attitude. you wouldn't believe how much that plays into your treatment plan. i know too well about cancer, and almost all doctors will tell you how important it is to remain positive at all times. i truly wish you the best, and look forward to seeing many more posts from you. much good luck to you. all my best wishes go out to you.
