Re: 60's Ladies...new thread for June!

Thank you puddles! I tried to hurriedly fix this last night but I'm not sure sure I succeeded.

Re: 60's Ladies...new thread for June!

I took 4 boxes of dishes and pottery to the consignment shop today. I'll be interested to see what will sell and what won't. I don't expect a whole lot of money, but just having all that stuff out of my house is liberating! not to mention the extra room where some of it was in the kitchen cabinets. I've been on a lamp mission lately, and I left the shop with a new lamp. It's a black and gray toile pattern on crackled ceramic and I think it's beautiful.

have a great afternoon, y'all. I'll probably be back later.

Re: 60's Ladies...new thread for June!

This is probably the most exciting thing to do is change color.  I won at Bingo today but had to split the pot with someone.  Rain again today.  It's not raining now but it is suppose to rain tonight.  It's so damp outside but not as hot as it was & humid.  I am still trying to figure out how to reply to a reply or how can we edit.  If anyone knows, please advise.

Hi out to Helen, Mocha, loves, RetRN, & everyone else.  Have a great evening.

yea for color. the one thing I like about this new place so far Smiley Happy

Kat, to edit hover your mouse over the three dots in the upper right hand corner of your post, then click on edit.

I clicked on the reply box within your post, but I'm not sure if that's the "reply to a reply" that you mentioned.

Re: 60's Ladies...new thread for June!

Hi Guys!

I've had my grandkids with me all day. Our GD will be here a couple days. Her parents went to Las Vegas for their anniversary. Our GS had today off from work, so he spent it with us. It's not often I have both here together; they have such busy schedules. We had a picnic at a lake near our house and I took bread so they could feed the ducks. Something I've taken them to do since they were little. After, we went to a ceramic cafe; where you pick a piece of ceramic, paint it and they then fire it. We'll pick the pieces up in a few days. In between, we had lunch...needless to say "Nana" is tired out! So, we're resting up a bit and then going out for a quick dinner.

I'm going to try and check back in here later. I haven't read any of the recent posts. KAT and MOCHAHONEY, how do you get color? I know how to edit now. Also, I have our thread "float" to the top of Forum Topics. Now, I don't have to search for it.

Hope everyone had a great day....enjoy what's left of the evening! Helen😊

Re: 60's Ladies...new thread for June!

Hi!
I'm not seeing a font color option on the ipad. Don't know when I will get to a computer. The internet here is sketchy, so my postings are who knows where!
Tomorrow at 9 am is the scheduled C section! So glad we got here early... LEXI has needed time to re-adjust to us. Tomorrow we will take her up to the hospital when they are ready for us.

Helen, on the far right at the top of the box when you're posting, there's a large A and a down arrow next to it. click on the arrow and choose a color.

did you hear the news about Ozzie? remember Ozzie the eagle who was injured and taken to a wildlife rehab center? after 3 months in rehab ( after surgery for a fractured clavicle and physical therapy) he was released today near the nest. the cams are off right now ( and damaged from lightening strikes) but I would so love to see him and Harriet back together again.

I hope everyone has had a great day. Loves, we are waiting to hear the news tomorrow. praying that all goes well.

have a peaceful evening, y'all. here's a photo of a sunset at Pass Christian, a beautiful little artist's colony town on the Mississippi gulf coast.

Re: 60's Ladies...new thread for June!

Helen,  It sounds likes you had a lovely day with the Gkids and the bread for the ducks is a wonderful way to start a tradition.  I love tradition.  To get color, go to the capital a and hit the arrow down and chose your color. It's located all the way to the right on the format bar when you start your message and/or reply.  There is suppose to be a link you hit to reply to a reply but I do not see it.  Leave it up to the Q for keeping us informed.  ha!
