@JoyFilled Warrior  I will answer your questions when I have some time, but your first is the time.  No. it does not hurt at all, you hardly feel it  - a little pinch  at best, and takes about a minute or two. Very simple.

Secondly, yes it wears off slowly over time. You only need to make a frowny face or lift your brows to see that it is indeed wearing off.

No, Juvederm is a filler for the face areas only and has nothing to do with the forehead, number 11's or crinkly side eyes if you have them.

I"ve gotten Botox from a neurologist, a plastic surgeon and two dermatologists, and the injections have always hurt.

@tends2dogs  - Hi! Hope you are well.  Thank you yes knock on wood we are leaving soon for Europe.  He's done so well he's playing tennis again 3 times a week.  I'm very happy.  I just have to not jinx myself over the next few days.Woman LOL

Hope you and hubby are enjoying the Florida sunshine.  It's cold where we will be going.  Not what I expected.  I was planning on spring attire but I feel it will be downright cold and I'm ordering pullover sweaters like a mad woman.  You know I will never use them down here.  I just don't have layering pieces anymore.  Just purchased 2 Ralph Lauren pullover sweaters where I can layer underneath and then put a coat over that.  A pink and french blue.  We shall see.....  Take care now Tends.Woman Wink

@Anothernewnickname  I understand, but your probably very sensitive.  Botox is a very fine needle.  For me it's a piece of cake and I don't feel it much.  He draws a little when he asks me to make angry faces and then again when he injects.  Takes one or two minutes.

Maybe they should put some numbing cream on you which would help.

It's really opened up my eyelids and am happy with results.  good luck - ask for numbing cream.  Maybe take an advil or tylenol too before you go.

Re: 6 MONTH BOTOX IS HERE

[ Edited ]

This is a little off topic and should be in my "cool peel" thread but like I said before reviews are really important word of mouth is moreso.  I moved over a year ago.  It started at a very nice beauty salon and I asked questions.  They gave me 3 names right away.

But how I found my plastic surgeon here was through someone who used him and I thought they looked so natural.  Just beautiful.

It was a full facelift and a nose job.  I could not stop staring at this person and was brave enough to ask as I had gotten to know them.  That's what happened to me up here.

Now I've become friends with some ladies at this salon I go to weekly and they are opening up about their work that was done, best Doctors, etc.

One thing that stays in my head and I firmly believe is a plastic surgeon CANNOT be an expert in everything.  They usually specialize in one or two things.  It's usually face, breasts, tummy tuck, lipo, eyes, browlifts.

So finding their expertise is very helpful.  Also look at their books.  For mine it's the face.  He's a bit more expensive but again its the area of the country you live in.  I know it's not fair but that's the way it goes, ugh.

I get only 8 weeks out of my Botox. If I could get 3 to 4 months I'd be ecstatic!!
