viva, sorry to hear about your slow cooker. It does get frustrating when things don't work.

I made a lot of jam in my slow cooker last summer. I must have made 30 batches of apple butter and pear butter. It was so easy cooking it over night.

hey glass so nice to hear from you today. I have never did any kind of jamming type cooking., had friends who did it. my dau. in law makes excellent applesauce. could eat that by the serving bowlful.

just fabulous outside. warm, comfortable, house is opened up. got up early, got just about all chores completed early, went back to bed, got up at 9am opened up the drapes and windows, so comfortable.

got a real eerie call this morn, I didn't take the call direct. had to let it go to voice mail. I was on phone with someone else. message left was so garbled, and so hard to understand. I think he is asking for dh by name, and message was so broken up. I did goggle number (443-206-2572) and it came back as spam. will let dh listen to message when he comes home tonight.

it is wet, damp,chilly. it is raining but lightly.

yesterday, someone stole our morn paper. it was out on little park place where dh parks his car, I didn't go out right away to pick up the paper, by the time I got outside, paper was gone,

not much today. waiting for laundry to finish in dryer, huge load today./

viva, I just hate it when somebody takes our paper. Usually it's one of the dogs in the neighborhood. People around here just let their dogs run free. It makes me so mad.

so glad wedding plans are beginning to fall into place.

got bad news last night, our wood shed doors fell off, we need a new wood shed, but it has to be a 10x20 shed. got a quote of $2800 for delivery and everything, just a simple a frame white wash wood shed. then when I called park manager, we have to get rid of both sheds . have had 2 sheds for 25 yrs, our 2 sheds were grandfathered in, but since we need a new shed, new rules kick in.

got our lawn man to quote 400 for getting rid of both sheds and taking down clothes lines.

the man making the shed is coming next week to look at old wood shed to see if he will move it, or if it movable.

hello all,

not much today, very beautiful day here. warm and sunny.

spent day at home. did have a 4 hour drive class had to attend today (the insurance class to help with a 15% discount) guy was a good teacher, he use to teach 4th grade, so he made the class interesting. to bad the class was competeing with a zumba class next door. music was super loud, door of our room had to be closed, we roasted for 2 hours till zumba got out.
