Gasp! Oh get out!  Good thing I don't know where you live--I would definitely be a squatter...

I could tell by the way you talk about the colors of makeup, you'd have some beautiful color combos in the house.  Thanks for the photo.  (Please adopt me.) My mind does not put colors together to make it flow so I have to see pictures. I really appreciate the picture. Thanks for taking the time.

OMGosh!  I had a temporary memory lapse and didn't know what you were replying to.  I thought I'd done something wrong Smiley Surprised  I wondered if you were going to beat me up if you knew where I lived (I think the pain meds are making me paranoid) Smiley Surprised

You can see a corner of my bedroom carpet in the pix of the makeup cart.  Walls are a purple plum color.  The "pretty" stops here.  The rest of the house is a Texas cowboy chic in a midtone chocolate, sage and a glazed burnt pumpkin with antelope carpet in the den with the burnt pumpkin and large ivory travertine elsewhere.  You might change your mind about my color sense lol  My end of the house looks like you've stepped into a different home.   But it's ok.  We designed it for ourselves and not for resale.  My husband did 80% of the work.

Speaking of making it flow, it was my intention to make rooms different but at the same time, any piece (art) could go in any room).  That works till you get to to the alcove to master suite.  The same chandy above the bathtub that I haven't been able to get in for FIVE weeks (due to preop and knee surgery) is in the laundry room (along with glittered walls) Smiley Happy

LMAO. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you.  I just didn't want to take up the space again with the picture.

You can decorate your house anyway you want, no judgement here.  I can't imagine what people would think of our house.  We do mostly earth tones/warmer colors but we like it.  Well, we better like it, no plans on moving.

Good luck with your knee recovery--might want to lay off the meds though. LOL. Enjoy your cart and take it easy!
