hey all

not much today

did normal chores

just a quick short walk today spent most of walk time talking with neighbor lady so it a was super short quick walk but i got out.

it was very sunny early morn but now has clouded up.very warm outside what a difference of 48 hours very warm today.ok guys later.

@SleeplessinSD   Thank you for your well wishes.  I got a call from the hospital this morning.  My brother had taken a turn for the worse.  They intubated him and he is going to be air vaced to TUcson at TMC for possible surgery.  DH and I will be going up to the hospital tomorrow

Had a non eventful day with finishing folding & putting away laundry & the DW contents.

I got some of the ingredients for making a Southwest white chili with chicken. 

Now hanging out watching TV.

hi friends. the trip to visit with our friends was really good. it was a beautiful day for the drive and the traffic wasn't bad. we haven't seen them since October. she's a wonderful cook and she made a Mississippi Pot Roast.

on Sunday I started feeling unwell. it's just "the sniffles" and I'm not feeling really horrible, just a runny nose and very tired. since DH has to go to Jackson tomorrow for an appointment and will be gone all day, DSIL said he would keep Ezra for the day. hopefully I'll be feeling better, because there are a couple of things I would like to get done.

we took the shutters off the french doors that lead out to the deck. Ezra is always trying to look out through them and he grabs the shutters and pulls on them. poor baby was being told "no,no" so many times a day. when he discovered the shutters were gone and he could see out into the back yard, he was over there looking out a dozen times. it was such a pretty day, so we took him out and let him run around on the deck and explore.

@katte, I'll add your brother to my prayer list. I'm sorry to hear he's so sick.

@SleeplessinSD, Max looks so sweet under his new blanket with his little toy. I saw the Sharke TSV but didn't buy it.

@MariotaMurielle - Ezra looks very cute.  Hope you are feeling better today.  Yesterday was my first real day of retirement and I was feeling like I had more energy so did a few things around the house.  Now today, I'm feeling the fatigue again.  Must have done too much yesterday.  Anyway, today will be a quiet day. Hope everyone has a good day.

really not to much today

damp chill today lots of moisture in the air. very cloudy today. porch railing had ice on it this morn. did get my small walk in this morn. really not much else. 
Katte hope brother does well after the surgery and recovers quickly.

hi all. I'm not 100% but I do feel much better. DSIL kept Ezra and DH left early to go to Jackson, so I got to sleep in. I always feel better when I get actual sleep

I had a couple of errands to run so I decided I would try to find a bagel shop in Hattiesburg I've heard good things about. since we usually have Ezra every day we really don't know our way around here very well yet. I asked Siri for directions on my phone and I put the place in my car navigation system. apparently I did something wrong because Siri told me to get on the interstate going north for 70 miles and my car navigation kept telling me to make U-turns. by the time I realized I was lost as a goose it was getting close to closing time for the bagel shop so I just found my way to a main road I'm familiar with and went home. dang, I was really craving a bagel with lox and cream cheese

I bought a faucet at Lowes a couple of weeks ago to be put on our new kitchen sink when the countertops get installed. the granite person asked me to bring it to her shop so she could get the model number, so they would know what size hole to drill in the granite. we're still waiting for the cabinet guy to finish a big project he's working on so he can get our island and sideboard cabinet built, then we can finally get our countertops done. it will probably be March, maybe even April.

since DH didn't get to go hunting at all this year, a friend of his in the county where we used to live got a deer for him and took it to the processor. DH went to pick it up today and came back with 65 lbs. of meat, which is enough meat to fill about half of our freezer.

Hi Everyone

Stopping by to give an update on my brother.  I received a call from the surgeons in Tucson and they asked me to come to the hospital in Tucson Monday night.  Sorry to say my brother passed away Monday.  I want to thank everyone for their well wishes.  I will be taking a little time away from the blog for awhile, but I'll be back sometime soon.
