it's a 2022 Volvo XC60. they're picking up my old car and delivering my new car on the 1st of November. it will be happy 42nd anniversary (on the 6th)  and Merry Christmas for me

hi all. DD had to work 10 hours today, so it's been a very long day for us too. it was pretty hot today but tonight has been very pleasant and cool, so we sat out on the front porch for a while this evening and watched planes fly over. and no mosquitoes!

DD's infusion medication arrived today (the pharmacy messed up and didn't send it 2 weeks ago), so she'll be able to get her infusion here on Friday.

I had to do an online notary process today to confirm my identity for Carvana. I've never done that before and it was very interesting. I had to answer some questions and then this man popped up on my computer screen and introduced himself. he was in Virginia. he asked me some more questions, examined the driver's license photo I had uploaded and then told me to remove my glasses so he could confirm that I am the same person as in the photograph. that was the last step in the purchase process, so everything is set for delivery next Wednesday.

@JustJazzmom, your bathroom is going to be really nice. do you have another project after this?

@viva923, heavy traffic on the interstate really gets on my nerves. I would have done the same thing, or as I used to do before we moved, I would get off the highway and maneuver through town. I guess you had a long trip, though, so better to reschedule.

Hi everyone - Had a Dr appt today to go over blood tests, and other lab work.  Also to check on blood pressure.  The Dr changed one of my blood pressure meds and my cholesterol med.  Then went grocery shopping for DD because she tested positive for Covid this morning and is so sick.  So bought some things for her, dropped them on her porch, knocked on the door and ran!  LOL  We laughed as I waved goodbye to her from the car. I am keeping in tough with her by phone and text so I know she is able to take care of herself, etc. but I wasn't going to hang around and wait for her to answer the door!
