Re: “2022”~Everyone, Please Join Us!

Good Evening Friends,

@viva923 , I got some nice, really warm socks over the holidays. It does get cold, for us,  here at night. How nice your DH went out and bought you more you like from Costco!

@MariotaMurielle , I'm sitting here with my pad too as I write. I've only used it twice today and taken Advil once. Seems like the pain is finally getting better. We ordered dinner that DH picked up, so no cooking for me tonight either!

@Hayfield , so glad you found us! I think stretches would help and be good for me too once my back is better. I'll see what I can find online. Sorry you weren't able to get out New Years Eve. Covid cases are rising out here once again too. Amazes me how many people I hear about that still don't want to get vaccinated. I'm sure you miss your son already!

Special hellos to all I missed...Good Night Everyone.

hi friends. we had thunderstorms all night and rain & tornado watches all day. I did some more packing and general decluttering.

this Covid, y'all. two more of my Florida cousins died today. that's 3 cousins in Florida who have died from Covid. I have recently read that up to 80% of Florida residents will get Covid.          the wife of my former brother-in-law (my late sister's husband) died from Covid 2 days ago and he's in the hospital with it. is this ever going to end???

on a much happier subject, my little Ezra is 3 months old today.

sending blessings to all.

here's a Mississippi River sunset.

@MariotaMurielle , first, Happy Birthday to baby Ezra! So hard to believe he's 3 months old already!

I am so very sorry to hear about your cousins and your former brother-in-law and his wife. Just too sad. I had read Covid is high in Florida. It's getting bad out here again too. We don't really go out much but wear masks and are careful in closed surroundings when we do. What else?? I'm praying for a better year ahead for us all..

Re: “2022”~Everyone, Please Join Us!

Good Morning!--It's cold & windy here and I decided not to take my pickleball lesson or play pickleball today, maybe I'll start cleaning our walk-in closets, if I get in the mood!  It's going to be cold and windy tomorrow too.  I'm just not a die-hard pickleball player I guess!  I hope that everyone has a good week!

SISD--I read Goodnight Moon to my children!  I read to them so much when they were little and it paid off, they're avid readers today!

MM--So sorry for your loss!  As far as when this stuff will be over, who knows!  The world has turned upside down, that's for sure!  A bunch of my lady friends have tickets to see the Broadway show Beautiful, that's playing down here in Wilmington at the end of January, we've had these tickets since June of 2020, got postponed, so now I'm trying to decide to go or not?  We got a group rate so the tickets were cheap enough that if I can't sell it, it won't be a big deal.

Good morning! Sorry to hear of your loss of relatives in FL @MariotaMurielle .

We are on baby watch here. Our DIL was induced last night & she will probably deliver today. Still haven't decided on names there. Our GS is currently with his other grandparents for the time being.

We are expecting an Arctic blast tonight into tomorrow.

I will be making a quiche Lorraine tonight. I think I'm going to sauté some mushrooms first to remove sone of the water to it as well. Haven't made that in a very long time. I do have a Corning French White quiche dish.

@Hayfield  DH & I saw Beautiful many years ago on Broadway. It's a great play.

Did anyone see about a week ago the Carole King/James Taylor concert on CNN? It was a nice trip down memory lane.

@Hayfield  Sorry for butting in here but I happened across your post and had to say I saw Beautiful on Broadway and it was one of the best plays I have ever seen. I wouldn't pass it by.
